Job summary

BMO Financial Group is seeking a Mortgage Specialist in Vancouver to cultivate referral networks, guide clients through mortgage applications, and collaborate with branch teams to close deals. You will leverage marketing programs and cross-sell opportunities to drive originations while delivering exceptional service and compliance with regulatory requirements.

With 3–5 years of relevant experience and a related post-secondary degree, you will navigate personal lending and home financing

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, sales, customer service, and negotiation skills.
• Expert knowledge of self-management and teamwork, personal lending, relationship sales and management.
• Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth.
• Experience in mortgage origination and banking processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cultivates, builds, and manages relationships with a referral network to create mortgage originations.
• Guides customers through mortgage application and processing activities.
• Partners with branch teams to hand off customers and finalize documentation.
• Identifies cross-sell opportunities and executes targeted marketing programs.
• Analyzes data to provide insights and reports for sales and performance.
