Job summary

SASCUs Broker Specialist role focuses on strengthening broker relationships and building a reliable pathway for mortgage business to support members and communities. You will apply sound analysis and proactive relationship management to balance service, risk, and profitability.

Ideal candidates have 4–5 years in financial services with residential mortgage lending experience and knowledge of CMHC/SASCU policies. Flexible work arrangements are offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in financial services or mortgage lending.
• Strong understanding of residential mortgages and SASCU policies.
• Experience with mortgage broker industry and broker-generated business.
• CUIC 210 and CUIC 240 certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage relationships with brokers and broker houses to grow SASCU's broker channel.
• Ensure broker applications lead to sound lending decisions with due diligence and policy alignment.
• Ensure mortgage files progress efficiently with accurate documentation and follow-up.
• Deliver a consistent broker experience that strengthens relationships and trust with SASCU.
• Maintain broker financial processes to protect transaction integrity and reporting.
