Job summary

Ratehub is seeking a Mortgage Agent (Ontario) for our inside sales team to convert inbound leads into closed mortgage transactions with support from our Documents Fulfillment Team.

The role emphasizes client-focused service, strong financial acumen, and a proactive, results-driven approach within a largely remote setup with optional office space in downtown Toronto.

Attention Retention/Renewal Specialists, Mortgage Agents and Financial Advisors – we are looking for you!

Ratehub has an opening on our inside sales team for a Mortgage Agent (Ontario) who will be responsible to convert leads into closed mortgage transactions. This is a great opportunity with competitive compensation, including a base salary plus monthly commission.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Taking inbound leads, online, or by phone, converting them to closed mortgage applications, with the support of the Documents Fulfillment Team.
• Ensure a smooth mortgage application process for clients, provide insight and thought to continuously improve the customer experience, handling customer complaints, should they arise.
• Maintaining your FSCO Certified Mortgage Agent designation

Required Qualifications, Qualities, and Skills

• 3+ years of mortgage sales experience.
• Self-motivated with excellent relationship building skills.
• Proficient in using sales tools and software.
• Ability to multitask and pay strong attention to detail.
• Analytical: You can break down complex information for our client.
