Role Description

As a Mortgage Agent at Orbis Mortgage Group, you will work full time on-site in Milton, ON, supporting clients throughout the mortgage lifecycle. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with prospective borrowers, assessing their financial profiles, and recommending suitable mortgage products and solutions. You will guide clients through applications, documentation, and approvals, coordinating with lenders, underwriters, and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely processing. The role involves maintaining ongoing client relationships, providing updates, and answering questions to deliver a clear and stress-free experience. You will also contribute to local business development by networking, following up on leads, and supporting marketing initiatives that expand Orbis’s presence in the community.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the mortgage industry, including regulations, products, and market trends.
• Experience in mortgage lending, with the ability to analyze client financials and recommend appropriate mortgage solutions.

• Skills in mortgage marketing, with capacity to build and manage client pipelines and referral networks.
• Relevant provincial licensing or certification to act as a Mortgage Agent in Ontario, or eligibility to obtain it.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency with CRM systems and standard office software.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site, client-facing environment; proficiency in English required, French or other languages considered an asset.
