Job summary

InnVest Hotels in Timmins, Ontario, is seeking a Breakfast Attendant for a 5-day weekday schedule, 4.5 hours per day, on-site. You will set up and maintain the breakfast buffet, prepare foods, stock beverages, and provide personalized guest service to start the day right.

Responsibilities include following brand standards, health and safety guidelines, restocking items, and assisting with ordering as needed.

Qualifications

• Serve Safe certificate is an asset (can be obtained on hire).
• Active listening skills to recognize and fulfill guest requirements.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication skills and reading/writing ability.
• Demonstrated knowledge of guest service and guest satisfaction.
• Morning shift availability, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized service to all guests.
• Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet per brand standards.
• Follow brand menu requirements.
• Prepare foods such as fresh fruit, bread, pastries, batters, and coffee.
• Stock coffee, juice and milk.
• Set up serving dishes, utensils, cups and paper products.
• Arrange cold foods like pastries and cereals, and prepare hot items.
• Restock items throughout breakfast hours and for the next day.
• Maintain breakfast area clean during operation.
• Clear and sanitize tables and chairs as needed.
• Wash serving equipment and return to storage.
• Return reusable supplies to storage.
• Complete required daily cleaning per frequency chart.
• Greet guests and be a hospitable host.
