Job summary

Montana in Fort McMurray, Alberta is seeking a Manager of Guest Experience to drive guests to the restaurant and ensure they return. You will hire, coach and lead trained Associates to deliver the Perfect Guest Experience in our upscale setting.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of managerial experience in upscale dining with similar sales volume, strong budgeting and operating-cost skills, and a proven ability to motivate and direct others.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' experience as a Manager in upscale dining with similar sales volume.
• Post-secondary education in hospitality and/or business preferred.
• Strong budgeting and operating-cost understanding.

Responsibilities

• Hire and lead trained, focused Associates to deliver on the guest experience.
• Drive guests to the restaurant and ensure repeat visits.
• Coach and motivate team to maintain upscale service standards.
• Oversee restaurant operations and ensure food and beverage excellence.

Job description

As a Manager of Guest Experience, you will be responsible for driving Guests to the restaurant, leveraging our scale, and ensuring Guests come back. With your superior restaurant experience, solid leadership and proven team building skills, you will also be responsible for hiring and leading trained, focused and engaged Associates, to deliver on our promise of the Perfect Guest Experience.

What we are looking for:

• Minimum 1 - 2 years' experience as a Manager in an upscale dining environment with similar sales volume
• Bonus points for Post-secondary education, preferably in hospitality and/or a business related field
• Excellent business acumen, including an understanding of budgets and operating costs
• Extensive knowledge of restaurant operations, including food and beverage
• Excellent understanding of the upscale dining industry
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and direct others
