Job summary

ECAM Technologies, a GardaWorld division, is seeking full-time Monitoring Operators who are French bilingual to remotely monitor CCTV and ensure client security in Hamilton, Ontario. Training provided, competitive wage, and benefits available after probation.

Roles include night and weekend shifts across a 7-day schedule, with performance incentives and career advancement opportunities within a growing security services team.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holiday shifts.
• 7 shifts (84 hours) in a 2-week period.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts seated at a desk.
• Experience contacting emergency services preferred but not required.
• Clear criminal background check.
• High attention to detail and security awareness.

Responsibilities

• Remotely monitor CCTV cameras to ensure client premises safety.
• Detect and prevent theft, vandalism and other illegal activities.
• Maintain accurate incident records in internal software and report suspicious activity to authorities.

Monitoring Operators Responsibilities

• Remotely monitor CCTV cameras to ensure the safety and security of client premises.
• Conduct surveillance to detect and prevent theft, vandalism, or other illegal activities.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents in internal software programs and report any suspicious behavior to appropriate authorities.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed.

Monitoring Operators Qualifications

• Flexibility in the days you are available, with availability to work nights, every other weekend, and stat holiday shifts (as needed).
• We operate 7 days a week, 365 days a year, including holidays.
• Availability to work 7 shifts (84 hours) in a 2-week period.
• Ability to work 12 hour shifts, while seated at a desk.
• Individuals who have a high attention to detail, and ability to identify potential security risks.
• Experience in contacting emergency services, such as police, ambulance, and fire is preferred, but not necessary.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
• Proficient in computer usage, including familiarity with software such as MS Office, Google Chrome, and other basic computer programs.
• Sound communication skills, both oral and written in English and French, are necessary.
• A post-secondary education or equivalent experience, in any field.
• Quality references that will vouch for your work, attitude, and attendance.
• Ability to provide a clear criminal background check.
