Job summary

ECAM Technologies, a GardaWorld company, seeks Monitoring Operators (Part Time - Weekends) in Hamilton, Ontario to deliver quality security services for clients across North America. You report to Monitoring Supervisors and monitor CCTV while documenting incidents and coordinating with authorities as needed.

The role includes starting pay of $20.00 per hour, weekend availability, on-site gym access, parking, and structured training with opportunities for advancement within a growing security

Qualifications

• High attention to detail and ability to identify security risks.
• Experience contacting emergency services preferred but not required.
• Ability to stay calm in high-pressure situations.
• Proficient with MS Office and basic computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Remotely monitor CCTV to ensure the safety and security of client premises.
• Conduct surveillance to detect theft, vandalism, or other illegal activities.
• Maintain accurate incident records in internal software and report suspicious behavior to authorities.
• Collaborate with law enforcement as needed.

Monitoring Operators Responsibilities

• Remotely monitor CCTV cameras to ensure the safety and security of client premises.
• Conduct surveillance to detect and prevent theft, vandalism, or other illegal activities.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents in internal software programs and report any suspicious behavior to appropriate authorities.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed.

Monitoring Operator Qualifications

• Individuals who have a high attention to detail, and ability to identify potential security risks.
• Experience in contacting emergency services, such as police, ambulance, and fire is preferred, but not necessary.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
• Proficient in computer usage, including familiarity with software such as MS Office, Google Chrome, and other basic computer programs.
• Sound communication skills, both oral and written in English, are necessary.
• A post-secondary education or equivalent experience, in any field.
• Ability to work 12 hour shifts, while seated at a desk.
• Availability to work a minimum of 4 shifts (48 hours) in a 2-week period, on weekends and stat holidays.
• Quality references that will vouch for your work, attitude, and attendance.
• Ability to provide a clear criminal background check.
