Infotek Consulting Inc. in Toronto, Ontario, is seeking a detail-oriented Money Market Settlements & Confirmations Officer for a 12-month contract with potential extension. The role is hybrid—2 days onsite and 3 days remote per week, with possible increase to 4 onsite days.

The position involves processing, confirming, settling, and reconciling money market transactions, including term deposits and term loans, in a fast-paced environment with cross-team collaboration.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field.
• Proven experience in banking back-office operations, settlements, or similar roles.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills.

Mansioni

• Process and monitor money market transactions with accurate trade processing and settlement.
• Verify and confirm transaction details with counterparties for accuracy and compliance.
• Manage settlement and clearing within currency-specific deadlines.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies, settlement breaks, and failed trades.
• Liaise with front-office, reconciliation, cash management, clients, and counterparties to resolve issues.
• Monitor reports and follow up on pending items to prevent delays.
• Provide timely responses to inquiries and maintain audit-quality records.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and internal controls, and seek process improvements.
