Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking Security Professionals in London, Ontario to provide professional, front-line security services. This part-time role emphasizes strong customer service, a professional demeanor, and teamwork within a dynamic environment.

Pay is CAD 20.62 per hour with Monday to Friday shifts from 4:00 PM to 10:30 PM or 11:00 PM; candidates must hold an Ontario security guard license and be at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with access control systems and alarms.
• Experience with report writing and note-taking.
• Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
• Valid Ontario security guard license.
• Driver's license is considered an asset.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada for 40 hours per week.
• First Aid and CPR.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED.

Responsibilities

• Patrol interior and exterior of facility, looking for signs of illegal / criminal activity, vagrancy, theft, property damage.
• Conduct regular communication checks with City of London Security dispatch.
• Access control for the facility/area
• Document shift activities in Daily Activity Report; complete incident reports with AUS mobile team.
• Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times
• Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to deescalate
• Patrolling and following protocols as perthe post orders, which may include indoor or outdoor patrols,manage the movement of guests at various points throughout the property etc.
• Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies
• Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager
• Demonstrate goodjudgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents
• Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Operate/monitor security room equipment, Completion of site required training
