Allied Universal in Oshawa, ON is seeking a Security Supervisor - Mobile. The role includes mobile patrols, monitoring alarms and CCTV, and coordinating with clients and employees to maintain safety.

Candidates must have a valid Ontario Security Guard License, driver’s abstract, full G license, First Aid/CPR, be at least 25, and able to work 40 hours per week. Training and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mobile patrols of designated areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor surveillance systems and alarms and respond to incidents.
• Perform security checks of entry points and ensure compliance with protocols.
• Interact with clients, visitors and employees, providing directions.
• Document incidents and observations in logs; report to supervisors.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders when needed.
• Maintain logs of patrol activities and equipment checks.
• Perform routine inspections of security equipment and vehicles.
• Conduct risk assessments and propose security enhancements.
• Attend training to improve procedures and emergency response knowledge.

Allied Universal is seeking Security Supervisor - Mobile in various locations in Oshawa.

Job Title: Security Supervisor - Mobile

Job Location: Oshawa, ON

Job Type: Full-Time

Shift Type: Mon-Fri 0300-1100 OR Two Week Rotation 1930-0730

Pay Rate: $18.19 - $19.19 per hour

Requirements: G License, Clean Driver's Abstract and 25 years age or above for insurance purposes.

Specific Duties Performed And Essential Functions

• Conduct mobile patrols of designated areas, including parking lots, premises, and other high-traffic areas, to deter unauthorized activity and ensure the safety of personnel and property
• Monitor surveillance systems and alarms, promptly responding to any security breaches, disturbances, or suspicious activities
• Perform security checks of buildings, doors, windows, and other access points to prevent unauthorized entry and ensure compliance with security protocols
• Interact with clients, visitors, and employees, providing assistance, directions, and information as needed while enforcing security policies
• Report any security incidents, accidents, or hazards immediately to supervisors or appropriate authorities, documenting observations and actions taken
• Collaborate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and other security personnel to coordinate responses to incidents and emergencies effectively
• Maintain accurate logs and records of patrol activities, incidents, and observations, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Conduct routine inspections of security equipment, vehicles, and emergency supplies, reporting any issues or deficiencies for prompt resolution
• Conduct risk assessments and security audits of client premises, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending security enhancements to mitigate risks
• Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge of security procedures, emergency response protocols, and relevant regulation
