Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is hiring for a laborer to support operation and maintenance of mobile plant equipment across Southern Alberta. You will perform general labor, monitor materials, and assist with safety procedures while the plant travels to different locations.

The role requires physical stamina, reliability, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather. Union environment, wage of $35.19 per hour, with overtime, benefits, and accommodations provided for out-of-town

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assist with the operation and maintenance of mobile plant equipment and mobile machinery
• Perform general labor duties including shoveling, sweeping, and cleaning
• Support mobile plant operations by following safety and operational procedures
• Monitor material flow and report irregularities to supervisors
• Participate in routine inspections and basic preventative maintenance
• Mobile plant moves across different locations in Southern Alberta

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination and background check.

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
• Mobile position that operates across multiple locations across Southern Alberta
