Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Canada Limited in Southern Alberta is seeking a hands-on Labor/Mobile Plant Operator to assist with operation and maintenance of mobile plant equipment across multiple sites.

You will perform general labor, monitor material flow, follow safety procedures, and participate in routine inspections, with overtime and out-of-town rotations supported.

Line of Business: Aggregates About Us Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assist with the operation and maintenance of mobile plant equipment and mobile machinery.
• Perform general labor duties including shoveling, sweeping, and cleaning.
• Support mobile plant operations by following safety and operational procedures.
• Monitor material flow and report irregularities to supervisors.
• Participate in routine inspections and basic preventative maintenance.
• Mobile plant moves across different locations in Southern Alberta

Conditions of Employment

Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination and background check. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to apply. Verification of age will be required as a condition of employment.

Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level. Mobile position that operates across multiple locations across Southern Alberta.
