Job summary

Agnico Eagle Mines Limited is seeking a Maintenance Planner for the Detour Lake Mine in Canada. The role focuses on developing and implementing long-term maintenance strategies for mobile equipment to improve reliability and efficiency.

You will work with maintenance teams, engineers, and planners to align activities with operations, manage budgets, and ensure regulatory compliance. The position offers on-site scheduling with accommodations and transportation provided.

Qualifications

Your Next Challenge

• Maintenance Planning:Develop and implement long-term maintenancePCR/Shutdownsstrategies for mobile equipment to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Asset life cycle(Components):Create and manage a maintenanceasset life cycle planto ensuretimelyPCR/Overhauls.
• Coordination:Work closely with maintenance teams, engineers,coordinators, Short-termplannersand operationsto align maintenancePCR/shutdownactivities with operational requirements.
• Budgeting:Assistin preparing budgets for maintenancePCRand track expenditureswith the Analyst.
• Regulatory Compliance:Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to industry regulations(Post-Mortem, kick off,KPI’s etc.)and company safety standards.
• Continuous Improvement:Initiateand participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and reduce costs.
• Mentorship&Coverage:Provide guidance and support to short-term planners, ensuring their development and effectiveness. Serve as coverage during their vacation periods. Long-term planners will alsobe responsible forstepping in as the planner and reliability supervisor when needed.

What You Need To Succeed

• Trade, MMP Certification or equivalent professional work experience with maintenance work routines;
• Knowledge of maintenance processes and techniques;
• Exposure to Project Management tools and techniques;
• Experience:Previousexperience in maintenancelong-termor short-termplanning for mobile equipment, ideally in an industrial or mining environment;
• Experience with maintenance of mobile mining equipment listed below:
• Hauling (798, 795F, 777F, 745C, 740B);
• Support Gear (24M, 16M, D11, D10, 992, 993);
• Welding (Boxes, Buckets, Blades);
• Technical Skills:Proficient in maintenance planningCMMS (JDE)and familiar with mobile equipment maintenance practices;
• Experience in work management practices and procedures;
• Detailed oriented with drive for continuous improvement;
• Strong organizational and time management skills;
• Computer skills:MS Office, MS Project, Visio,PowerBI,Sharepoint.;
• Communication and interpersonal skills for teamwork and coordination;
• Problem-solving skills to address scheduling conflicts and resource allocation issues;
• Familiarity with reliability programs within a mobile maintenance environment.

Your Work Schedule

• Schedule:14/14 schedule at our Detour Lake Mine;
• Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides transportation to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
