Job summary

Agnico Eagle Mines is seeking a Maintenance professional for the Detour Lake Mine in Ontario. This role supports routine servicing and major component replacements on ultra-class haul trucks, working on site under a 14/14 schedule.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues with Engine/Electrical/Hydraulic systems, repairing powertrain and hydraulic components, and maintaining thorough service records. On-site accommodations and meals are provided, with company transportation arranged.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
• Ontario Provincial or Inter-Provincial Heavy Duty Equipment Technician certificate is considered an asset.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Experience with ultra-class Haul trucks 798/795 electric drive is preferred.
• Knowledge of CAT ET & SIS Web is beneficial.
• Self-motivated with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Regular servicing, preventative maintenance and inspections on 795/798 haul trucks.
• Perform large component replacements as part of a team.
• Troubleshoot Engine/Electrical/Hydraulic systems using computerized equipment.
• Repair hydraulic, powertrain and electrical systems.
• Utilize tools including hydraulic power units, torque wrenches and hoists.
• Identify and report part requirements and supplies as needed.
• Prepare electronic service reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work area.

YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED;
• Ontario Provincial or Inter-Provincial Heavy Duty Equipment Technician certificate is considered an asset;
• Minimum five years’ related experience in a fast-paced production environment;
• Experience with ultra-class Haul trucks 798/795 electric drive;
• Experience with Caterpillar C-175 or Caterpillar Power generation would be an asset;
• Computer literate and proven knowledge of CAT ET & SIS Web;
• Focused and self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.

YOUR WORK SCHEDULE:

• Schedule: 14/14 schedule at our Detour Lake Mine;
• Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides transportation to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.

Compensation Statement

In accordance with applicable legislation, the expected compensation includes base salary and potential bonus opportunity. Your individual pay will reflect your skills and experience while remaining competitive within the local market.

Minimum Salary: $59.13 Maximum Salary: $63.19
