Job summary

IGG Canada in Vancouver is seeking an Intermediate Technical Artist to bridge art and tech in our mobile game development team. You’ll craft stylized shaders for characters and FX, optimize assets, and improve workflows in Unity for real‑time mobile production.

Reporting to the Lead 3D Artist, this on‑site role starts ASAP at our downtown Vancouver studio. Salary range CAD 63,000–85,000 depending on experience, with a path to permanent employment and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of professional experience in Technical Art or related role.
• Strong knowledge of Unity and real-time 3D production workflows.
• Understanding of the 3D art production pipeline and asset integration.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with artists and designers to develop and implement stylized visuals for Unity mobile games.
• Prepare, integrate, and optimize 2D/3D assets for real-time mobile development.
• Set up, refine, and maintain materials, textures, lighting, VFX, and reusable prefabs.
• Support artists with Unity workflows and improve art production processes.
