Job summary

IGG Canada is seeking a skilled 3D Animator to join our on-site Vancouver team. You will create high-quality real-time animations for 3D assets and support the project with a strong artistic vision. Start date ASAP with an Experienced hiring level.

Location is fully on-site at 988 West Broadway, Vancouver, BC. Salary ranges from CAD 55,000 to 90,000 per year, negotiable based on experience and skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional character animation experience using Maya.
• Proficient with auto-rigging tools and character rigging, independently.
• Experience in Unity with at least one shipped title.
• Strong 3D character animation skills for humanoid and other organic forms.
• Willingness to learn Spine for 2D animation in-game.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality animations for real-time 3D game assets including cycles and cutscenes.
• Collaborate on animation design, references, ideas, and concepts validation.
• Create in-game character animations using Unity and our tools.
• Rig characters and assets with our proprietary studio tools.
• Work with Art, Design and Programming to improve animation workflow and pipelines.
• Explore new techniques to speed up production and integrate AI-assisted references.
