Qualifikationen

• 2-3 years of related work experience is required.
• Valid Class 5 drivers’ license required.
• Good English skills (verbal, reading and writing).
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Word and Outlook).
• Experience in community organizations or ministries is preferred.
• Experience dealing with complex matters.

Aufgaben

• Model Christ in word and deed.
• Counsel up to the level of personal expertise and refer as necessary.
• Refer and assist community members in finding suitable, safe accommodation.
• Provide support on behalf of community members to external services.
• Stock and restock, order materials, and maintain the Mobile Mission vehicle.
• Drive into allies, parks, and back-roads for outreach to those in need.
• Maintain logs and complete administrative responsibilities.
• Provide support and referrals to clients from Vancouver's Downtown Eastside.
