Job summary

Wonderbrands in Etobicoke, ON is seeking a Mixer Operator for the nights shift (11pm–7am). You will scale ingredients, fill mixers, and monitor dough quality to meet recipe specifications.

Ideal candidates have bakery or food-manufacturing experience, familiarity with SAP, good math skills, and a collaborative, safety-conscious work style.

This role requires physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Previous mixer experience in food manufacturing is preferred.
• Experience with baking processes and dough handling is advantageous.
• SAP familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Scale ingredients per recipes and prepare dough for fermentation.
• Load and mix ingredients in correct sequence and monitor dough quality.
• Maintain sanitation, follow GMPs and health and safety policies.

Our team is looking for a Mixer Operator to join our nights team!

Position: Mixer Operator

Shift Schedule: Nights (11pm - 7am)

Location: 122 Carrier Drive. Etobicoke, ON. M9W 5R1

Pay Rate: $20.50/hr

Responsibilities

• Scale all ingredients according to recipes.
• Cut,weigh,scale,measure andplace dough in bins/mixing bowls and move into fermentation area
• Fill mixers with pre-measured ingredients in correct sequence.
• Monitor and maintain the correct size, color and weight of various products as set out byourrecipe specifications
• Troubleshoot dough, adding ingredients to ensure the quality expectations are being met and taking into account the variables such as ingredients, temperature
• Keep the area clean and put away utensils in the proper location after use. Adhere to all Food Safety and Health & Safety policies andprocedures andhave an understanding and respect for GMPs.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a mixer in a food manufacturing / production setting is preferred
• Aloverof bread and baked goods!
• You have strong people skills—you’re approachable, a good listener, and empathetic
• Youhave previously worked in a manufacturing environment (even better if it was food manufacturing!)
• You have previous baking experience, and ideally some knowledge of SAP
• You are comfortable lifting 30-50 pounds to move our ingredient packages and cases
• Like workingin a fast-paced environment,be self-reliant, andbe energized by opportunities to learn and grow, and be a steward of your own career
• Solid mathematical skills to help bring our recipes to life in the bakery
• You’re dedicated to the health and safety of yourself and your colleagues
