Job summary

Grand River Personnel is seeking an experienced Industrial Mixer for a food manufacturing facility in Kitchener, Ontario. This is a current vacancy and we are actively looking for qualified candidates to join our client’s team.

Qualifications

• Strong basic math skills and the ability to accurately measure ingredients.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with work orders.
• Good communication in English and ability to read product codes.
• Ability to lift up to 25 kg repeatedly and follow established procedures.

Responsibilities

• Accurately measure and prepare large quantities of ingredients for cracker production.
• Operate industrial blenders and mixing equipment.
• Monitor raw materials and supply levels and notify appropriate personnel when replenishment is required.
• Follow work orders, product specifications, and production procedures.
• Assist the packing department and other production areas as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Shift Availability: Day, Afternoon & Night
Pay Rate: $18.50/hr + 4% vacation pay added to each weekly cheque

Job Responsibilities

Job Requirements

• Previous experience in food production, baking, mixing, or a similar manufacturing environment is an asset
• Strong basic math skills and the ability to accurately measure ingredients
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to read and follow work orders and recognize product codes
• Good communication skills in English
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment
• Ability to lift up to 25 kg (55 lbs.) repeatedly throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures
• Must have CSA-approved safety footwear
