Job summary

Paul Davis in Langley is seeking a Mitigation Technician to perform water and fire mitigation, tarping, board up, mold remediation, asbestos/lead abatement and carpet cleaning under the Mitigation Manager. You will deliver excellent service with urgency, and help protect homes and families after disasters.

This role requires a strong work ethic, ability to lift 75 lbs, and flexibility to work nights and weekends. Training and advancement opportunities are provided, with a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Dedication to customer service.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to work nights and weekends, and overtime if needed.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs frequently.
• Desire to continually learn new things.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-level water mitigation, tarping, board up, mold remediation, asbestos/lead abatement and carpet cleaning/reinstallation under supervision.
• Focus on delivering excellent customer service.
• Maintain a clean, stocked truck and proper equipment.
• Be reachable by phone and participate in on-call rotations as required.
• Assist in warehousing and facility tasks as needed.
• Lead and collaborate with team members when required.

Role on the Team (Job Responsibilities):

• High level performance of water mitigation, tarping, board up, mold remediation, asbestos/lead abatement and carpet cleaning/reinstallation services according to Paul Davis and industry specifications under the supervision of the Mitigation Manager.
• Focus and dedication to providing excellent customer service.
• Maintain a clean, properly stocked and organized truck and maintain all company equipment.
• Be accessible by phone and participate, as necessary, in the on-call schedule.
• Assist in warehousing and facility related tasks when necessary.
• You will assist other team members as you see opportunities arise and be a leader for the team when needed.
