Job summary

Aspen Custom Trailers, Inc. is seeking a Mining Product Manager to lead the mining product line from concept to customer. You will work across engineering, production, sales, and service to deliver innovative solutions that address operational challenges and drive profitability.

You will identify market opportunities, shape product roadmaps, and partner with customers to ensure safety, reliability, and performance in mining applications across North America.

Qualifications

• Experience in mining, heavy equipment, trailers, manufacturing, or industrial products.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites, mines, and industry events.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams from concept to market.

What You’ll Be Doing

You'll be the driving force behind our mining product line—from concept to customer.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Develop and execute the strategic vision for our mining product portfolio.
• Identify new market opportunities and emerging industry trends.
• Work closely with customers to understand operational challenges and develop innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Sales, and Service teams to bring new products to market.
• Manage product roadmaps and life‑cycle planning.
• Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback.
• Support the sales team with product knowledge, technical expertise, and customer presentations.
• Visit mines, customer sites, and industry events to strengthen relationships and gather valuable market insights.
• Develop pricing strategies and product positioning.
• Monitor product performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Champion safety, quality, and operational excellence throughout the product development process.

• Strong financial and commercial awareness.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites, mines, and industry events.
• Mining engineering, mechanical engineering, business, or technical education.
• Experience with haulage, material handling, trailers, or mining support equipment.
• Product launch and commercialization experience.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement.
• Experience with CRM systems.
• Existing relationships within the mining industry.
