Job summary

BW Gold, a wholly owned subsidiary of Artemis Gold Inc, is seeking a Parts Technician for the Blackwater Mine site. In this role you will manage stock, receive and issue parts, and support maintenance teams to minimize downtime on our mining fleet.

The position operates on a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation and requires focus, safety, and accuracy in inventory control. You will coordinate with maintenance, planning, procurement, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts, perform counts and

Qualifications

• Experience with heavy mobile equipment (HME) used in mining.
• 2–3 years in warehouse, maintenance support, or similar role.
• 1 year in parts for a mine site is a bonus.
• Experience using Pronto software.
• Mechanical trade/technician background is an asset.
• Experience in parts or logistics in heavy industrial/mining environment.
• Knowledge of OHS and mining regulations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records, monitor stock levels, and reorder supplies to prevent shortages.
• Properly store, segregate, and protect materials, parts and supplies.
• Follow procedures for receiving, stocking, and issuing parts, including inventory counts and audits.
• Fulfill parts requests from field and shop technicians for planned and unplanned maintenance.
• Organize and stage parts by job or project and coordinate delivery of parts.
• Liaise with maintenance supervisors, technicians, and planners on parts status.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of inventory items.
• Perform analysis of unused parts and provide reporting.
