Job summary

Conuma Resources seeks an experienced HR Advisor to support admin tasks across the employee lifecycle, employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, and data reporting. A strong background in mining HR compliance, BC regulations, and HRMS systems is essential.

The position follows a 7-days on / 7-days off 12-hour rotation in Northeastern BC. Base salary ranges from CAD 85,000 to CAD 100,000 per year with bonuses, RRSP matching, comprehensive extended health and dental benefits,

Qualifications

• Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR advisory or generalist role.
• CPHR designation preferred or willing to achieve.
• Strong knowledge of BC Employment Standards Act, Canadian Human Rights Act, BC Mines Act.

Responsibilities

• Administrative tasks across the employee lifecycle: onboarding, offboarding, benefits enrollment, payroll coordination, and leave management.
• Serve as primary contact for benefits, HR policies, career development, and interpersonal issues; attend daily crew meetings.
• Assist in performance evaluations, implement strategies, and support discipline where needed.
• Engage in talent acquisition: screen candidates, coordinate interviews, onboarding new hires, and represent at job fairs.
• Collect and analyze HR data; report on turnover, recruitment effectiveness, and attendance.
• Design and participate in employee engagement initiatives.
