The role involves supporting renewals, pursuing new business opportunities, and administering programs across complex operational risks with close collaboration with clients and insurers.

Qualifications

• Commercial insurance broking or account management experience required.
• Exposure to mining, energy, or resource industries is an asset.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail across multiple accounts and deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with broker management systems (EPIC preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide client service and account management for mining and energy accounts.
• Prepare renewal and new business documentation for submission to insurers.
• Request, compile, and analyze loss experience and underwriting information.
• Support negotiations with insurers on coverage terms, conditions, and pricing.
• Obtain quotes for premium financing as required.
• Prepare client-facing summaries outlining coverage options and recommendations prior to binding.
• Coordinate binding instructions and post-binding insurance documentation.
• Request and manage policy, endorsement, and bond amendments.
• Coordinate issuance of invoices, certificates, and evidence of insurance.
• Monitor receivables and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Maintain complete client records within EPIC and shared drives.
• Respond to client inquiries related to coverage, documentation, and program changes.
