Job summary

Purves Redmond Limited, a Toronto-based, 100% employee-owned insurance advisory firm, is seeking a Client Service Specialist for Group Benefits & Retirement Services. You will support Consultants, manage client inquiries, coordinate renewals, and maintain strong client relationships.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in employee benefits, strong communication, and proficiency with CRM and MS Office. Bilingual English/French is an asset.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in employee benefits, insurance brokerage, or benefits administration.
• Knowledge of group benefits products and carrier processes.
• Strong client service and relationship management skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/benefits administration systems.
• CEBS, GBA, RPA, or LLQP certifications are assets.
• Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the national strategic plan for the Private Client Insurance Practice.
• Drive profitable portfolio growth through new client acquisition, cross-selling, retention, and increased client penetration.
• Manage the financial performance of the practice, including budgeting, P&L, revenue forecasting, expense management, and profitability targets.
• Lead client and prospect meetings to identify opportunities and present the value proposition of the Private Client offering.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to increase wallet share within existing commercial client relationships.
• Act as a primary service contact for an assigned portfolio of group benefits clients.
• Respond to client inquiries regarding plan administration, eligibility, claims, billing, and coverage.
• Coordinate plan changes with carriers and vendors to resolve issues.
