Job summary

Artemis Gold Inc. BW Gold subsidiary seeks a Supervisor - Asset Protection to lead security across the Blackwater Mine operations.

You will implement protocols, assess risks, and coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners to safeguard personnel, assets and information. You will drive safety leadership, conduct threat and risk analysis, and oversee security systems including access control, surveillance and alarms.

Qualifications

• Degree or college diploma in criminal justice, security management, or related field preferred.
• Valid security certification or licensure (CPP, PSP, CISSP) is required.
• 5+ years of experience in security operations, preferably in a mining or industrial environment.
• Police or Military background an asset.
• Ability to work at a remote location camp on a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with regulatory awareness.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safety leadership by enforcing BW Gold safety standards and procedures.
• Collect, analyze information to identify trends, anomalies and vulnerabilities.
• Compile threat, vulnerability and risk models for the operation.
• Coordinate deployment of intelligence systems to minimize risks.
• Lead relationships with stakeholders to promote security culture.
• Develop and enforce security policies and protect company assets.
• Monitor security threats, incidents, and provide timely reports.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits for compliance.
• Investigate incidents and coordinate follow-up actions, including documentation.
• Manage a team of security professionals and ensure PPE compliance.
