Job summary

Sandvik Group in Canada seeks a Parts & Service Sales Representative to identify and develop aftermarket sales opportunities within a defined customer base and to drive sales growth where opportunities exist.

The role requires a technical background in heavy equipment/mining, fluent English and French, strong communication and analytical skills, and willingness to travel up to 50% locally and domestically.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or two-year college diploma required.
• 4+ years of technical knowledge in heavy equipment/mining; sales experience preferred.
• Ability to work in both French and English.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• CRM software experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales opportunities for Sandvik Mining product lines, focusing on aftermarket products and support.
• Perform gap analysis on existing fleet to identify sales opportunities and conduct audits.
• Participate as a key member of an account or sales team.
• Assess customers’ potential with Sandvik Mining products through opportunity analysis by customer and site.
• Coordinate with customers on aftermarket issues to resolve them promptly.
• Aim to achieve agreed targets and drive customer development with productivity and reliability.
• Stay informed on industry developments and competitive offerings affecting sales.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
