Job summary

Option Excavating Inc. is hiring an experienced Mini Excavator / Skid Steer Operator to join our growing earthworks division. We operate on commercial and civil sites, performing excavation, backfill, and site prep in tight spaces.

You will move materials, assist with utilities, and conduct daily equipment inspections while maintaining safety on site. Immediate start and opportunities for advancement are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience operating mini excavators and skid steers in civil or commercial construction.
• Knowledge of trench safety and excavation practices.
• Ability to work accurately around existing utilities, structures, and in tight access areas.
• Comfortable operating a range of attachments (buckets, breakers, augers, grapples, brooms).
• Ability to load trucks safely and efficiently.
• Valid driver's licence, Class 5 minimum.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable and safety-focused.
