Job summary

A construction company in Ontario is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join their team. The role requires a valid G Driver's license and at least 10 years of experience operating different Excavator types. Responsibilities include operating the machine with minimum supervision, reading blueprints, and performing excavation for foundations. This full-time position offers consistent hours of 9-10 hours per day, five days a week.

Qualifications

• Valid G Driver's license.
• Reliable transportation to varying work locations.
• 10 years of experience operating Excavators from 3.5T to 30T.
• Reliable transportation as work locations vary.
• Experience loading with an excavator and performing footings/foundation excavation.
• Extensive finish grading experience with skid-steer and dozer.
• Experience back-filling and trenching for site services.
• Willingness to commit to full-time hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate Excavators with minimum supervision.
• Read blueprints effectively.
• Excavate for footings and foundations.
• Ensure safe, efficient excavation operations and daily maintenance checks.
• Maintain consistent full-time availability for shifts (approximately 9–10 hours per day, 5 days a week).

• (10) years experience operating an Excavator (Experience from 3.5T - 30T machines).
• Able to work with minimum supervision.
• Able to read blueprints.
• Experience loading with an excavator.
• Experience excavating for footings and foundations.
• Lots of experience in finish grading with Skidsteer and Dozer.
• Experience back- filling.
• Experiences trenching for site services.
• Full time availability.
