Job summary

Coeur Mining, Inc. is seeking a Miner 3 at the Silvertip Operation in Northern British Columbia, Canada. The role supports mining operations on a two-week in/two-week out shift with 12-hour days at a remote camp.

Responsibilities include operating yard scoops, haul trucks and other equipment, supporting mine service installation and rounds loading, and upholding safety and production policies. A strong team ethic and reliable attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years underground mining experience.
• Minimum one year operating heavy equipment underground (scoop/truck).
• Ability to operate various underground utility vehicles.
• BC underground blasting ticket considered an asset.
• First aid ticket considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Operate eight (8) yard scoops, 30- and 45-ton haul trucks, scissor lifts and boom trucks safely and productively.
• Assist in installation of mine services and loading rounds.
• Ensure compliance with safety and production policies and procedures.
• Maintain solid work ethic, regular attendance, punctuality and a positive attitude.

About the Job:

Operating in a Northern British Columbia mining environment on a two week in/two week out shift rotation, the Miner 3 i is an integral part of the mining operation at the Silvertip Operation. Solid work ethics, regular attendance, and punctuality are essential requirements for this position. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Responsibilities:

• The Miner 3 i is responsible for the safe and productive operation of eight (8) yard scoops, 30 and 45-ton haul trucks; Scissor lifts and Boom trucks.
• Able to assist in the installation of mine services, as well as assist in loading rounds;
• Ensure all policies and procedures in relation to safety and production are followed;
• Solid work ethics, regular attendance, punctuality, and a positive attitude, are essential requirements for this position.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum two (2) years underground mining experience.;
• Minimum one (1) year operating heavy equipment underground; (scoop/truck);
• Ability to operate various underground utility vehicles;
• B.C. underground blasting ticket considered an asset;
• First aid ticket an asset;
• Ability to operate a trans mixer an asset.
• Ability to shoot shotcrete an asset.
• Physically fit to perform the duties of the position;
• Mining, Oil and Gas or Heavy Industrial experience is preferred;
• Strong problem-solving, teamwork and ability to develop and foster strong working relationships;
• Strong sense of integrity, ethics and desire to positively impact the environment;
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal;
• Ability to work with a diverse cross-cultural workforce.

Additional Information:

• Willing to work a two-week rotation schedule, with 12-hour shifts per day at a remote camp.Eligible for monthly bonus.
• Our current designated marshalling locations are Vancouver, Kelowna, Nanaimo, Calgary, Edmonton, Whitehorse, Teslin, and Watson Lake.
