Job summary

The Miner 3 at Coeur Silvertip in Northern British Columbia operates on a two-week in/two-week out shift with 12-hour days at a remote camp. You will support safe, productive mining activities alongside a dedicated team.

Responsibilities include operating yard scoops, haul trucks, and related equipment, following safety procedures, and maintaining high attendance. We value solid ethics, teamwork, and a proactive attitude; a monthly bonus is available.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years underground mining experience.
• Minimum one year operating heavy equipment underground (scoop/truck).
• Ability to operate various underground utility vehicles.
• BC underground blasting ticket considered an asset.
• First aid ticket an asset.
• Ability to operate a trans mixer an asset.
• Ability to shoot shotcrete an asset.
• Physically fit to perform the duties of the position.
• Mining, Oil and Gas or Heavy Industrial experience preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, teamwork and ability to develop and foster strong working relationships.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Ability to work with a diverse cross-cultural workforce.

• Assist in installation of mine services and loading rounds.
• Ensure safety and production policies are followed.

About The Job

Operating in a Northern British Columbia mining environment on a two week in/two week out shift rotation, the Miner 3 i is an integral part of the mining operation at the Silvertip Operation. Solid work ethics, regular attendance, and punctuality are essential requirements for this position. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• The Miner 3 is responsible for the safe and productive operation of eight (8) yard scoops, 30 and 45-ton haul trucks; Scissor lifts and Boom trucks.
• Able to assist in the installation of mine services, as well as assist in loading rounds;

Additional Information

• Willing to work a two-week rotation schedule, with 12-hour shifts per day at a remote camp. Eligible for monthly bonus.
• Our current designated marshalling locations are Vancouver, Kelowna, Nanaimo, Calgary, Edmonton, Whitehorse, Teslin, and Watson Lake.
