Qualifications

• Degree in Mining Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in mine operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Proven experience in managing open-pit or underground mining operations.
• Strong knowledge of mining equipment, techniques, and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of daily mining operations, including planning, execution, and monitoring of production activities.
• Ensure the implementation and enforcement of stringent health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Manage and develop operational supervisors and coordinate the activities of the workforce.
• Drive operational efficiency, identify areas for improvement, and implement cost-control measures.
• Collaborate with other departments, including geology, engineering, and maintenance, to achieve overall site objectives.
