Job description

Agilus is recruiting for a Millwright - Maintenance Technician in the manufacturing industry in Burlington, Ontario.

Shift: Continental shift

Typical day:

1. Work in all areas (general millwright) with an emphasis on preventative maintenance
2. Maintain equipment such as Injection Machines, Lining Machines, Assembly Machines, Utility Sport Equipment, Injection Molds, Assembly Molds, and Tooling
3. Troubleshoot, carry out repairs, and conduct preventative maintenance on injection molding machines, molds, support equipment, and packaging equipment
4. Report all food safety issues to the appropriate manager or supervisor

Successful candidates will have:

• Licensed Millwright
• Technical college diploma in a related field or an industrial trade license (preferred)
• 2-5 years of experience in ISO Implementation, Health and Safety, WHMIS, Mold Repair, Injection Molding Process and Troubleshooting, High-Speed Packaging Equipment Repair, Facility Equipment Maintenance and Repair
• Competence in several areas such as: Windows-based programs, blueprint reading, pneumatics, hydraulics, injection processing, electrical code, PLC troubleshooting, electrical controls, machine shop equipment, metal fabrication, mechanical principles, welding, brazing, plumbing
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work continental shifts (no nights)
