Job summary

NSG Group in Canada seeks motivated individuals to begin an apprenticeship in industrial maintenance. You will assist licensed tradespersons in troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment, and participate in preventative maintenance of production systems.

You will learn to diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation issues, while reading blueprints and using SAP PM/CMMS for work order documentation. Rotating 12-hour shifts and safety adherence are required.

Qualifications

Registered Ontario Apprentice (433A Millwright or 442A Industrial Electrician).
Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
Mechanical aptitude and interest in industrial maintenance
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Assist licensed tradespersons in troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment.
Participate in preventative maintenance activities on production equipment and facility systems.
Learn to diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation-related issues.
Assist with installation and maintenance of motors, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, sensors, robots, and related equipment.
Read blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals; support documentation in SAP/CMMS.
Attend apprenticeship training and progress through levels; follow safety procedures.
