Job summary

B&G Industrial Services Ltd. is seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanical Millwright to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery in a hands-on setting.

Willing qualified applicants including certified Millwrights or apprentices are encouraged to apply. This on-site role in Ontario offers a wage range of $24–$34 per hour with overtime per the Ontario Employment Standards Act.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Millwright or in the process of an apprenticeship is required.
• Hands-on experience with construction equipment and machinery.
• Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing.

Responsibilities

• Build new industrial and construction machinery.
• Install, inspect, adjust, clean, and lubricate equipment.
• Disassemble machine parts when transporting or repairing, and reassemble them.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Wage: $24 – $34 per hour

Overtime: Paid in accordance with Ontario Employment Standards Act

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build new industrial and construction machinery
• Install, inspect, adjust, clean, and lubricateequipment
• Disassemble machine parts when transporting orrepairing them, and reassemble the parts
• Collaborate with construction workers or engineerswhen using the machines
• Align equipment by using specialized tools
• Collect and store machinery parts
• Choose appropriate tools for the task
• Maintain equipment in a condition that does notcompromise safety
• Follow all health and safety procedures
• Identifying hazards or potential hazards
• Other job duties as required

REQUIREMENTS

• Certification as a Millwright or in the process of anapprenticeship program is required
• Hands-on experience with construction equipment andmachinery
• Knowledge of relative safety standards andwillingness to use protective clothing (face shield, gloves etc.)
• Work effectively in different environments
• Able to communicate both verbally and in writing
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Familiarity with safety standards and OSHAregulations.
