Job summary

Raise is hiring for a Millwrights role in Prince Rupert, BC. This on-site, full-time permanent position requires a valid Red Seal, with a 4-on/4-off day shift and a night-shift with pay incentive option.

Relocation assistance is available, and the employer offers benefits, a retirement plan, and PPE allowance. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, timely repairs, accurate maintenance records, cross-department feedback, and inventory management of parts and components.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Red Seal certification.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting experience with industrial equipment.
• Heavy duty mechanic background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Undertake the preventive maintenance of industrial equipment and infrastructures.
• Ensure the timely and effective repairs and adjustments related to industrial equipment.
• Register maintenance information using the appropriate systems.
• Provide thorough and accurate feedback to all departments regarding pending maintenance.
• Actively manage the inventory of available parts and components.
