Job summary

Agnico Eagle Mines Limited is seeking a skilled Millwright for the Macassa Mine in Kirkland Lake, Ontario. Qualifications

• Millwright license required.
• Experience reading hydraulic schematics and prints.

Responsibilities

• Consistent with Maintenance Department Classification Guideline.
• Maintain mill and crusher equipment for safety, reliability, availability and production.
• Assemble, set up, lubricate, maintain and repair crushers, conveyors, vibrating screens, pumps, grinding mills and related equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints following manufacturers’ instructions.
• Execute work orders for preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
• Remove, install, align, troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Ensure work areas and practices comply with codes and company requirements.
• Liaise with colleagues and managers on work-related situations and activities.
• Maintain a safety and environmental first mindset.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

As part of the Mill Maintenance team, you will be an integral member supporting the safe and continuous operation of the site. You will be considered capable and with qualification to install, repair and reinstate equipment in planned and unplanned maintenance Working with a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), we have responsibility to ensure all information is as accurate as possible. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

• Consistent with Maintenance Department Classification Guideline;


• Responsible for the maintenance of mill and crusher equipment to ensure their maximum contribution to safe, reliable, availability and production;


• Assembles, adjusts set-up, lubricates, maintains and repairs crushers, conveyors, vibrating screens, various types of pumps, grinding mills and associated milling equipment;


• Reads and interprets blueprints while carefully following manufacturers instructions;


• Carries out working orders related to the preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance plan of the operation;


• Equipment removal, installation, alignment, troubleshooting, and repair;


• Ensures that the work areas, equipment, and work practices comply with the regulatory codes, statutes, and company requirements;


• Liaises effectively with colleagues and managers regarding various work situations and the activities within the department;


• Has a Safety and Environmental first mindset;


• All other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• Millwright License required;


• Experience reading and understanding hydraulic schematics and prints;


• Experience in CMMS;


• 5+ years experience in similar role working in a Crushing and Milling environment;


• Teamwork and self-starting work ethic;


• Actively assist in the development of Maintenance Repair Plans and Preventive Maintenance Programs;


• Collaborative mindset and problem solver;


• Able to develop and maintain effective relationships with other teams, and relevant support and technical staf f.

Compensation Statement

In accordance with applicable legislation, the expected compensation includes base salary and potential bonus opportunity. Your individual pay will reflect your skills and experience while remaining competitive within the local market.
