Job summary

FWS Group of Companies is seeking Millwrights to join our collaborative team. You will perform welding, ironwork, or mechanical tasks, and use millwright precision tools to support project layouts and build to drawings.

Must have industrial mechanics experience or be in an Apprenticeship, hold a valid driver’s license, and be able to work a 14/7 rotation with time away from home. Basic trade tools are required, and pre-access drug testing may be needed.

Qualifications

  • Appropriate level of experience in industrial mechanics or enrolled in an Apprenticeship Program.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required.
  • Must be able to work a 14/7 work rotation with extended time away from home.
  • Own and maintain basic trade tools.
  • Pre-Access Drug & Alcohol testing may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for welding, ironwork, or mechanical related tasks.
  • Accurately and effectively uses various types of millwright precision tools.
  • Responsible for safe use of equipment including forklift, skid steer loader, scissor lifts, and power tools.
  • Reads and understands construction drawings, including providing accurate layout of the work and building to drawings and specifications.

As a Millwright, you will provide support to the department and Superintendent.

Position Overview
  • Responsible for welding, ironwork, or mechanical related tasks.
