Job summary

Peter Lucas Project Management Inc. seeks an Electrical Maintenance Planner – Mill to support mill maintenance operations, focusing on electrical equipment, preventive maintenance planning, SAP database development, and backlog management.

You will develop PM sheets, ensure spare parts, coordinate multidisciplinary crews, and help build BOMs and SAP records. The role is a six-month contract with potential extension in a mining and mineral processing setting in Vancouver area.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical maintenance planning within mining, mineral processing, or heavy industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of SAP maintenance modules and data management.
• Ability to develop PM sheets, work instructions, and BOMs.
• Experience addressing maintenance backlogs and coordinating multi-discipline crews.

Responsibilities

• Assist Mill Maintenance Planner with collecting information for electrical maintenance planning and scheduling.
• Develop and update PM sheets, work instructions, and attachments for mill electrical equipment.
• Ensure spare parts and materials are identified and available for scheduled maintenance.
• Coordinate maintenance activities involving multidisciplinary crews for efficient execution.
• Assist with addressing the maintenance backlog and organizing BOMs.
• Support SAP maintenance database development, including equipment records and PM documentation.
• Collaborate with maintenance staff to improve planning processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability and maintenance efficiency.
