Job summary

Amrize in Canada is seeking a Maintenance Planner to improve efficiency of planned maintenance activities across SAP PM and associated systems. You will coordinate with internal teams, balance workloads, and optimize preventive and corrective tasks to maximize equipment availability at sustainable costs.

The role requires a university degree in mechanical/industrial engineering or a journeyman millwright, plus 2–5 years planning experience in an industrial setting.

Qualifications

• University degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or Journeyman Millwright.
• 2–5 years of planning experience in an industrial environment.
• Working knowledge of SAP or similar CMMS systems; proficiency with MS Project and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Manage SAP PM Master data; create BOM; identify critical spare parts; define MRP.
• Lead Area maintenance planning meetings and coordination.
• Review notifications and workload; plan third party services needs.
• Plan, review and optimize PM01/PM02 tasks in SAP PM and DMS; set tasks and weekly workload balance.
• Prioritize and generate preventive and corrective maintenance orders.
• Schedule weekly and daily maintenance plans; 13-week master plan; major shutdowns.
• Consolidate major repairs; lead meetings for major shutdowns and After Action Reviews.
• Generate and track purchase requests for materials; ensure on-time delivery and optimize NWC.
• Track purchase requests and services for major shutdowns/repairs.
