Teck Resources Limited, Highland Valley Copper, is seeking a Mill Maintenance Planner to schedule shutdowns and daily maintenance across crushing, conveyors, grinding, and flotation areas. Reporting to the Mill Maintenance Planning General Supervisor, you’ll build job plans, maintain BOMs, and uphold safety first while optimizing plant uptime.

You will develop work instructions, assess risk, and drive continuous improvement using KPIs to reduce backlogs and improve maintenance efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory/planning experience in a metallurgical processing plant or equivalent.
• Recognized trade qualification, technical diploma or equivalent
• Understanding of planning and scheduling principles and procedures
• Computer literacy including Microsoft Office and working knowledge of a computerized maintenance management system
• Must have Grade 12 or equivalent
• Possess a valid driver’s license

Responsabilités

• Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
• Develop job/plan packages with necessary information to allow efficient scheduling and execution of work
• Verify the scope of work to be performed is accurately captured on work orders
• Determine tasks and sequence necessary to accomplish work
• Identify health and safety risks for each task with required permitting
• Develop adequate work instructions for each task
• Use KPIs such as work backlogs to improve maintenance efficiencies and availability
