Our client, a leader in the financial industry, is seeking a highly skilled MSSQL Administrator to join their dynamic team in Montreal. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, optimizing database performance and ensuring seamless operations. Key Responsibilities :

• Install, configure, and maintain MS SQL Server databases.
• Optimize performance and tuning to ensure high availability and efficiency.
• Develop and manage T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
• Implement and maintain SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Analysis Services (SSAS), and Integration Services (SSIS).
• Utilize Data Transformation Services (DTS) for data integration and movement.
• Ensure database security, log shipping, query hints, and troubleshooting.
• Work on high availability and disaster recovery (HADR) solutions.
• Perform database patching, migrations, and statistical analysis.

Qualifications :

• 5+ years of experience in SQL Server Database Administration.
• Strong knowledge of database performance tuning and optimization.
• Expertise in SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, and DTS.
• Experience with log shipping, query hints, and database security best practices.
• Hands-on experience with HADR solutions, patching, and migrations.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, T-SQL, and query execution plans.
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex database issues.
• Ability to work efficiently in a financial industry setting.
• MSSQL DBA Certification (preferred).
