As a Microsoft D365 Senior Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for overall project financials, including budget and accounts receivable, project planning/estimation, resource planning, project delivery and implementation, as well as for fiscal project budget, resource utilization, and profitability. You’ll oversee the communication of the project direction and status to the client, the management of client expectations, and the fostering of successful client relationships.
In this role, you’ll manage all project resources including mentoring, billing utilization, performance reviews, individual career development, conflict management/team dynamics, directing and motivating team members. In some instances, you may also need to assist the client with these types of activities.
Travel to client sites may be required up to 50% of the time.
Provide project management direction and advice to clients as well as team members to influence growth and success;
Manage the project’s business analysis, implementation and software development life cycles in the Microsoft space;
Develop project plans and milestones;
Report status to internal and external management for SOX compliance;
Produce and present monthly project financials to the executive team;
Write proposals and participate in new business development efforts;
Write employee project performance reviews and participate in interviewing and analyzing skills of new and current employees;
Provide assistance and guidance to less experienced project managers.
Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) and/or Master of Science (M.Sc.)/Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Management, Business, MIS, or a related technical discipline (specialized training or 4 years of additional experience may substitute for an advanced degree);
Minimum of 5 consecutive years as a Project Manager, with preferably at least 2 of those years in ERP project management;
Ability to manage large complex projects and following SOX Compliance.
Please note that due to the nature of the responsibilities of the position, a proficient level of English is required, in particular to communicate on a regular basis with employees and managers outside of Quebec.
