Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a Methods Agent for Production Support at the Dorval plant. You will collaborate with Engineering, Projects, and Quality to optimize Challenger platforms and manufacturing methods, while supporting the assembly line with technical guidance.

The role requires a mechanical engineering background with 3+ years of experience, strong CAD/ERP skills, and fluency in French and good English, plus autonomous time management and teamwork.

Qualifications

• College degree in mechanical engineering with at least three years of experience.
• Familiar with Windows, SAP, Catia/CDMA, and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge in project management and mechanical assembly.
• Organized with ability to manage own time and demonstrate autonomy.
• Strong teamwork, flexibility, and results orientation; comfortable with change.
• Excellent command of French (written and spoken) and good English.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Engineering, Projects, Program, Tooling, Material Logistics, Quality and Production.
• Manage projects to improve the Challenger 3500 & 650 platforms and processes.
• Provide technical support for the assembly line of the Challengers.
• Read drawings and establish work instructions and method documentation.
• Improve assembly processes and implement changes from Engineering.
• Apply a structured problem-solving approach.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Work collaboratively with the various Engineering, Projects, Program, Tooling, Material Logistics, Quality, and Production departments.
• Manage projects in order to improve the Challenger 3500 & 650 platforms, the manufacturing processes, method procedures and the How to of the team.
• Give technical support for the assembly line of the Challengers.
• Read drawings and establish the work instructions and method documentation accordingly.
• Improve assembly process as well as incorporate changes initiated by the department of Engineering.
• Master the problem-solving approach.

How to thrive in this role?

• You hold a college degree in mechanical engineering with at least three (3) years of experience or the equivalent.
• You are familiar with the use of software’s such as: Windows, SAP, Catia/CDMA, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Project).
• You have knowledge in project management and technical skills in mechanical assembly.
• You must be organized and able to manage your own work time and demonstrate autonomy.
• You have good skills in team-work, flexibility and you are result oriented. You are comfortable with change.
• You are an excellent team player, are perseverant and have a good judgement.
• You have a perfect command of French, written and spoken and have a good knowledge of English.
