Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a Methods Agent, Projects at the Completion Center to join our Aerospace Canada team. You will validate assembly instructions, interpret drawings, and develop manufacturing strategies for aircraft components while collaborating with engineering and production teams.

You will work with CATIA/AutoCAD/Enovia and ERP systems, leveraging 3D visualization and strong analytical skills to support continuous improvements and R&D initiatives. Fluency in French and English is valued.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical/Avionics/Electrical/Industrial/Electromechanics or aerospace manufacturing.
• Ability to read technical drawings and visualize in 3D.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and judgement skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with CATIA/AutoCAD/Enovia/ERP tools (BAAN/SAP).
• Fluent French (written and spoken) with good English knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Validate and revise assembly/manufacturing instruction guides for aircraft components.
• Interpret drawings and engineering documents.
• Develop assembly and manufacturing strategies for aircraft components.
• Create tools to enable manufacturing/assembly with respect to geometric tolerances.
• Coordinate changes with Engineering, Parts Logistics, Quality and Production.
• Support production by coordinating problem solving with other departments.
• Keep up to date with best practices and participate in R&D projects.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Validate and revise assembly instruction guides or manufacturing instruction guides for the manufacturing or assembly of aircraft components;
• Interpret, drawings and other engineering documents;
• Develop assembly and manufacturing strategies for aircraft components;
• Develop necessary tools to manufacture or assemble aircraft components by taking into account established geometric tolerancing;
• Harmonize the implementation of engineering changes or assembly strategies by working in close collaboration with Engineering, Parts Logistics, Quality and Production;
• Participate actively in production support by coordinating problem solving with other support departments;
• Keep abreast of best ways to enhance assembly and manufacturing strategies and participate in research and development projects.

How to thrive in this role?

• You have a college or university diploma in Mechanical, Avionics, Electrical, Industrial, Electromechanics Engineering, Aerospace Manufacturing or minimum of 1-3 years in a relevant area;
• You are able to read technical drawings and have a good visualization in 3D with good analytical skills;
• You have a good logical mechanical skills;
• You are proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint);
• You can work with computer-based software such as Catia, AutoCad, Enovia, etc.;
• You can work with Entreprise Resource Planning (ERP) software such as BAAN, SAP, etc.;
• You are an excellent team player, are perseverant and have a good judgement;
• You have a good command of French, written and spoken and have a good knowledge of English.
