Job summary

Bombardier Transportation GmbH is seeking a Methods Agent for the Final Test Center in Dorval. You will define and refine functional test procedures, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support for aircraft systems.

The role requires collaboration with engineering, production, logistics, and quality teams to implement effective testing strategies. Ideal candidates have a technical diploma in avionics or related field and 5+ years in aeronautics, with proficiency in MS Office and ERP

Qualifications

• Technical diploma in avionics or maintenance aircraft.
• 5+ years of experience in aeronautics.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with ERP systems BAAN and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Define, write, and correct functional test procedures for aircraft systems.
• Support resolution and troubleshooting of functional testing problems.
• Provide technical support for functional testing of aircraft systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, logistics and quality teams.
• Investigate root causes and evaluate costs, impacts and risks of production changes.
• Identify and implement improvements in testing strategies and R&D projects.
• Interpret engineering requirements and align with testing plans.
• Harmonize implementation of engineering changes or testing strategies.
• Plan changes requested by production and customers (RFQ).
• Identify opportunities to eliminate non-added value and optimize production.
• Support creation of tools according to precise technical requirements.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Define, write, and correct functional test procedures for aircraft systems.
• Support the resolution and troubleshooting of technical problems related to functional testing of aircraft systems.
• Provide technical support for functional testing of aircraft systems.
• Work closely with the engineering, production, logistics and quality functions.
• Investigate the root causes of problems and analyze potential solutions by evaluating the costs, impacts and risks of a change in production.
• Be on the lookout for ways to improve testing strategies in addition to taking part in research and development projects.
• Interpret engineering requirements and other documents from the engineering department.
• Harmonize the implementation of engineering changes or functional testing strategy.
• Ensure the feasibility and plan the changes requested by production and by customers (RFQ).
• Identify opportunities to eliminate non-added value and optimize production.
• Support the creation of tools according to precise technical requirements.

• You have a technical college diploma in avionics or maintenance aircraft and / or equivalent experience.
• You have 5 years or more of experience in aeronautics.

• You master the French language, both orally and in writing, and you have a good knowledge of the English language.
• Knowledge of aircraft and interior completion systems will be considered an asset.
• Knowledge of Bombardier technical documentation (AMM, SB, BAPS, CMM, etc.) will be considered an asset.
