Job summary

Interpro Prairie Recycling is seeking a hands-on yard associate at our Camrose facility. You will sort, cut and move scrap metal, assist in loading and unloading, and help keep the yard clean and safe. Prior scrapyard experience is a plus, but willingness to learn and strong work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School or GED.
• No experience required, prior scrapyard/manufacturing exposure is a plus.
• Able to meet physical demands: standing, heavy lifting, long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Handle metal and scrap in the yard; sort and grade non-ferrous materials.
• Follow SOPs, SWPs, and JSAs; wear PPE at all times.
• Cut scrap steel to sizes with a torch; load/unload materials; assist in mechanics/truck shops as needed.
