Job summary

Grand River Personnel Limited is recruiting experienced Production Operators for a full-time opportunity in Waterloo, Ontario. The role requires manufacturing or production experience, the ability to operate production machinery, inspect parts, and maintain a steady pace in a busy shop floor.

Shifts are afternoons or nights with open availability and rotation strongly preferred. Pay is $20.00–$21.00 per hour plus 4% vacation pay; temporary residents are not eligible.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or production experience is required.
• Experience operating production machinery or equipment is strongly preferred.
• Good mechanical aptitude and ability to learn production processes.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery safely and efficiently
• Load raw materials and remove completed parts from production equipment
• Monitor the production process and ensure finished parts meet quality requirements
• Inspect parts using gauges, fixtures, and measuring tools
• Identify and report equipment, production, or quality issues
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area
• Follow established safety procedures, work instructions, and quality standards
• Assist with other production duties as required
