Job summary

Match Retail is hiring a Merchandising Contractor in Marystown, NL to visit stores and ensure product presentation aligns with national plans. You will install and adjust promotional signage, maintain correct footprint, manage stock levels, and report findings to the Nespresso team. This hands-on role suits self-motivated individuals who can work remotely with a smartphone.

Flexible scheduling and independent contractor status offer autonomy in daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable car.
• Strong customer focus and ability to foster lasting relationships.
• Good problem solving and time management skills.
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and friendly.
• Ability to self-manage remotely.
• Must have access to a smartphone with data to upload pictures and fill out reports.
• Some physical labor required (up to 50lbs).

Responsibilities

• Ensure shelf presence of all SKUs listed by POS.
• Install and tear down promotional signage in POS according to national plan.
• Ensure negotiated footprint is respected.
• Manage machine stock in stores to ensure assortment/supply and minimize out-of-stocks.
• Update expired capsule sampler packs and coffee supply for tasting.
• Merchandise display machines and stock per brand guidelines.
• Clean and organize the Nespresso area including machines, displays and tasting station.
• Provide comprehensive reporting, including action items, recommendations, etc. on each store visit to the Nespresso team.
• Be a Brand Ambassador for Nespresso in all assigned retail stores.

About the Role

Match Retail is a leading provider of essential merchandising services across Canada, supporting major retailers and top brands by bringing new product launches to life. Our Merchandising Team visits stores to update product sections, ensuring the latest innovations are perfectly presented.

We work with our clients, Nespresso, and service major retailers.
